ILTi 2014

It’s that time of year again.  We are three weeks into our annual International Literacy Training Institute (ILTI).  This is a highlight for our family each year and we have had the privilege to coordinate the training again.  This job is made easy by the dedicated and skilled Tulsa Staff that works all year to plan and prepare for this 6-week event.

We have another incredible group of participants - 17 total, representing different parts of Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.  Please pray for the students and the different instructors that are teaching them over the next several weeks.

This week, Emily and I have been teaching on LEADING TEACHER TRAINING WORKSHOPS.  We also invited Rev. Samuel Lawerteh, the president of LEI Ghana, to teach with us.  Besides being a a talented trainer and teacher, he has one of the richest and deepest West African accents; I could listen to him talk all day long.  Currently, the ILTI participants are leading their first training workshop together to sharpen their training skills.  When they get home, they will be multiplying themselves (2 Tim 2:2) and training other volunteer teachers.

Tedd w/ Rev. Samuel
